They're black, but not jet black...think more like "heathered black".

Hmmm, more like a super super deep rigid/raw blue color. I didnt really want black & took a chance & like 'em a lot.

Question
Levi's 511, shrink in hot water and dryer?
I purchased these jeans that are 30W BY 32L. Normally, these are my normal measurments. Although, when I first got these and tried them on, it was a bit long for me. It did not look like a slim fit / skinny jean at all. Also, it is a bit stiff.
My question is, Will washing and drying these jeans help it too shrink? and will it reduce the stiffness?

The stiffness is part of the "finish" and the more you wash them, the less stiff they'll be. To keep the color, turn them inside out when you wash them. Mine fit a little bigger than most 511s, too--wash them in hot water to shrink them, but make sure you wash them inside out and without much detergent or they'll fade fast.

Usually, any pair of Levis shrink a tiny bit on the first wash, i would guess 1/4 to 1/2 an inch on both W and L.

They are 100% cotton. They're totally normal jeans, just cut in a very tailored way.

It's the J SHOES PLAID RIDER BOOT. Urban no longer carries the boot. You might want to check out the Bed Stu Cercy boot, they're a similar style and they're pretty rad.
