Questions & Answers for Metal Accordion Side Table

Question

will the base open wider?

I am hoping the base will open wider, so it will be coffee table height and i can make my own larger top. This is perfect because I need something that wil fold up and store when not in use.

answer 4
Yes, the base opens wider, but you would need a different sized top, and the base needs to screw into the top, so you'd have to find a top with 3 holes around the bottom.

answer 6
Yes, the base opens wider, but it doesn't get that much wider/shorter. I don't think it would work for a coffee table (unless you want a taller one)

answer 2
The table top has 3 threaded built-in screws that stick out from the bottom. The legs have 3 prongs at the top with holes in them for the screws to sit in. They provide bolts to screw on to the threaded part, holding the top in place.

Nuts and an enclosed wrench. Very easy. Table top has affixed bolts that fit into slots on each leg. Once it is situated in place, screw the nuts onto the bolts and tighten with the wrench. Very easy. Can be done by one person.

You have to unscrew the nuts from the underside of the table, put the bolts through the holes on the top of the legs, and then screw the nuts back on. That took me a minute to figure out too!

answer 7
The table comes with a set of printed instructions that tell you how to attach the tabletop to the legs.

All you have to do is turn the tabletop upside down and put the legs in the screws that are already part of the tabletop. Then screw the nuts over the screws. Most of this you can do by hand, but the table comes with a thin wrench for tightening the nuts.

There are screws that come out of the bottom of the table and little lug nuts that attach it together. Easy Peasy!

14 inches from edge to edge.

Inside the rim, the diameter of the flat portion is 13.75". I know because I had a circular mirror cut to fit in it.
