The jewelry stand itself was about a foot. It came in a fitted cardboard box. The cardboard box itself was shipped inside another cardboard box which was unecessarily big and wasteful.

Mine came in a brown cardboard box with three small pieces of padding for extra protection near the top (by the bird), and two small pieces on the sides. Pretty sturdy and nothing was broken when I received it. Hope this helps! :)

I can't recall exactly what kind of packaging this earring stand comes in, but I do remember that it was well-protected and arrived in perfect condition. A tiny bit of extremely easy assembly (putting the bird finial in, and setting the stand in its holder) was required.

The holes are pretty small. About 1mm. The only pair of earrings I own that I'm uncomfortable putting on this thing are some very very small diamond studs

I put both studs and dangle earrings. I wouldn't recommend putting in the super super small studs but small to medium studs work fine.

All I have on my stand is studs! I have some pretty small ones and don't have a problem with any of them staying in, so it shouldn't be an issue!

answer 11
You would have to have some teeny tiny little studs for the holes to be too large. I'd say you could jam about the first 2mm of a well-sharpened pencil through the holes. In other words...I wear the smallest studs out of all of my friends, and this holder still keeps them.

It comes in one piece, but you can actually disassemble it into two pieces. The stand can be easily separated from the bird cage part and put back on with no problems.

50 holes per row x 4 rows = 200 holes
200 holes = about 100 sets of earrings! :)

(depending on how large/wide/long your earrings are and how far you want them spaced apart)

Believe it or not, it can hold between 80 - 100 pairs of earrings, it all depends on how wide they are at earlobe part.
