Questions & Answers for Damsel Wallpaper - Aqua Grey

Question

Is the wall paper re-usable?

About the adhesive wall paper, called "Damsel Wall Paper - Aqua Grey" it says it is easy to take off. Does that mean that there would be no rips in the paper or little pieces left on the wall when you take the wall paper off the wall? Also can it be reused?

When I hung it there were times when it was lined up crooked and I had to remove it and restart. It was able to do THAT just fine. The problem with attempting to reuse it is that it stretches so you can't put it on a wall and then live with it and then remove it, then apply it again somewhere else. When you pull it off the wall, it will stretch the "paper" making it hang very, very poorly the next time. It is very likely to tear and rip while you are taking it down. It may not leave behind pieces since it's not paper but it would not be reusable at all after removal.

I would say 'no' based on my experience hanging it. After about 8 minutes or so it really solidifies onto the wall. Also pulling it off it weighs itself back onto itself. Think of clinging wrap and how it's magnetically compelled to itself. That's what this does

I feel like it would come off complete...the tough part is what do you do with it when you take it off! When I was applying it It was a challenge to make sure it didn't crease, almost like a real sheet of paper...You'd be hard press to find a way to store it without creasing/crinkling it

Question

How "easy" to remove is it, exactly?

And does it leave any adhesive residue on the wall? Is there any special cleaner/remover involved in the taking it down? Moving into a rental suite.. must know these things!

Not that I'm aware of. Just make sure your walls have been painted fairly recently and have been primed.

If you are still wondering about this I can tell you that it's VERY easy to remove and there is zero residue. It's actually a bit harder to make it stay where you want it. Really good product overall though!
