It isn't too short but I ordered up a size just to make sure it was long enough for school. you can wear leggings with them though. it looks cute!

Yes! This needs opaque leggings big time!

I'm 5'2" and ordered a size small. the dress hit my mid thighs. I personally thought it was too short.

If you are above average height, this dress will most likely need leggings.

I'm 5'2", and the front hit about mid-thigh on me. (The front hemline is slightly asymmetrical, which I didn't notice online.) In back, though, it's slightly longer, hitting a few inches above my knee. Proportion-wise, I'd say I have a longish torso and shorter legs. If I were five inches taller, I imagine it would be pretty short, but I guess it's hard to tell.

I was worried it would be too short too, but it was longer on me than the model. Hit about mid thigh. I wore tights, but would have been comfortable without them. I'm 5'8".

Its very soft and amazing. It does wrinkle easily though.

Not incredibly stretchy, and I remember taking it off, I had some issues because it seemed my shoulders were too wide! Also, when you bend over, your butt will show

Probably not, especially if you have wider shoulders. Even in a baggier size, my movement was a little restricted.

i feel that this dress is a nice material.... but not necessarilllllllyy streatchy... its a bit baggy though... so when it reaches the original point where it should stop going out it will stop... i know thats a bit confusing but whatever.

That's a tough question. I say yes, because small is generally what I get, I got a small, and it fit great.

Now, often I'll have to get mediums of more form-fitting dresses to accommodate my bust, and since I don't like things super tight—especially in the underarms—but the small had plenty of room for me.

I'm usually a 26 in jeans, sometimes a 25—which is the low end of small according to the size chart. Many other reviewers said the bottom half was a bit tight, and maybe since I am on the lower end I didn't have that problem.

So I guess you could say it runs a tad large on top, and a tad small on bottom, averaging out to be true to size. If that makes any sense.

It does not fit true to size, unless you have no buttocks. if you do have a buttocks, order a size up, but you may be sad because the top will most likely be a little large.

If you wear nude undergarments, you can't see them. Any other color—whites, pastels, etc.—you can see.
