Questions & Answers for Edge Ruffle Duvet Cover

Question

Is it necessary to get the duvet insert, is this just a 'cover'?

I was wondering since it says duvet cover, if ordered alone will it be virtually a sheet and I will need to buy the insert? Or will it look and feel like a comforter alone?

I am confused since it says 'cover'

You will need an insert because I had it for a few days before I had got my insert and it was only as warm as a sheet.

answer 2
Yes, this is just a cover. You need a duvet insert. Check the dimensions of the one you purchase though. It won't look and feel like a comforter without a duvet insert. It's very thin.

Yes it will be like a sheet unless you put a duvet inside it. Looks great with duvet, probably wouldn't appreciate it without it.

answer 4
Ya, you can get the duvet here or just use an old comforter to fill it. (That is what I do). Otherwise it is just going to be like a sheet. Hope this helps :)

answer 5
Hey yeah, you would need the insert. This is essentially two sheets sewn together with buttons at the top to put the insert in. I'm using a $15 duvet I got at target.

answer 6
you need the insert or a separate insert from home because if not it is like sheet with buttons holding nothing inside and looks awkward

It's made to have a duvet (comforter) inside it. They come with an opening on one end where you push a comforter inside it, much like a giant pillowcase.

You can always use it just as a bed cover without the comforter inside. I plan on just using it as a bed cover when the weather heats up.

Any comforter works, you do not need to buy the UO duvet. If you don't already have a blanket to go inside, just go to any department store (even target and walmart) and they have duvets for cheap.

answer 4
The full/queen duvet is large enough for a queen and not too large that it would look awkward on a full size bed.

I have a full bed, the duvet fits very well. It would also fit a queen, but would not come down as far on the mattress as it does in the picture shown on the website. They obviously used a full bed to show what the duvet looks like on that bed.
Hope that made sense?
