Looking for Answers about Over-the-Door Vanity Station?

look at the 4th picture. If you plan on using it on the door you just use the small notches on the back next to the wall mounts. If you plan on mounting it to the door you need to find/purchase the screws yourselves. As the assembly is pretty simple/basic no directions are provided. They just assume you'll figure it out based on the example provided in the picture.

There should be two little knobs on the back of the item that slide in and out (so if you wanted to mount it on a wall instead of a door they wouldn't get in the way). You make sure those are slid out, and then slide them through the holes in the bars that hang over the door. Be warned though - the first one I got only had one little knob, and that's happened to some other people too, so that might be the problem.

I know right, how annoying. Well, on the back of the main piece there should be too screws attached already, on on either side. They are like screws with the tops on both sides so it doesn't come out, I dunno. Then you are supposed to slide the bars thingys unto the screws and lock in place. the one I ordered came without one screw and i had to send it back.

the screws are small and built in to the back of the vanity, at the top. they are small and silver

On the back of the frame, at the very top on either side, there are two little nail-looking things that you can pull out and use to hook it on the rods.

you don't need screws or directions.... the holes on the bars that hang over the door fit perfectly into the little knobs on the back of the mirror, look closely you will find them!

I used some zip ties... There's probably a bunch of other things you could use but I had these on hand and they are extremely sturdy and didn't require me to spend any more money on finding the right fit of a hook or something. Very cheap, easy and effective!

I would say somewhere in between? Not dull-- not too shiny.

A dark burnt copper with a purple hue to the metal. I thought it was a rusted purple more so than copper when it arrived.

I would describe it as a dull, bronzy color. However the color varies a little bit, mostly on the bars you use to hang it over your door, where it's a bit more of a bright copper.

The over-the-door brackets seem like a standard thickness, but the unit also has brackets that allow it to be attached directly to the door or wall with screws.

It appears that it will SNUGLY (maybe even scratch the paint a bit) fit over a 2.25 inch thick door. My door is an inch wide, so it's wobbling all over the place. :)

This has brackets that allow you to attach it directly to a wall or door with two screws. So if you're willing to do that instead, it should work. (The screws are not included.)

I used some velcro and put it on the bottom two corners of the frame and connected it to the door. If you don't want to use velcro, I think you could possibly even use some tape if you wanted to. I hope this helps!

i dont know exact measurements but the mirror is just a it wider and taller than your head, and the shelves are very useable but smaller that you will expect, it can hole makeup products, but not very amny large bottles

Copper! I ordered "turquoise" and it's not actually turquoise at all. It's like a dusty country blue. Totally clashes with the actual shades of turquoise in the room where I wanted to use it. It's very muted and has no hint of green in it.
