The film is discontinued so Impossible Project tried to replicate it and resell it for a reasonable price. The real film you can buy online for like over $100, it's not worth it

answer 5
The square format Polaroid film was discontinued world-wide years ago, however recently a group of artists and enthusiasts called the Impossible Project have begun to chemically rebuild the instant film from the ground up, and their film is currently the only available working film of it's kind in the entire world. You can only buy their film in specialty photography stores in your area, or at http://www.the-impossible-project.com/

answer 6
It's a specific type of film. Check the item description for starters.

These cameras were originally in production in the 80s, and instant photo went out a long time ago. So you can't just go out and buy film for these cameras anymore. Any film at all is hard enough to come by in this day and age.

Also, the film is somewhat expensive. In fact, that's the reason why people stopped using these in the first place -- the film was getting pricey.

No, this camera cannot use any film available at a grocery store. It can only use Impossible film (from the-impossible-project.com or certain film stores) or old 600 Polaroid film.

"Project Impossible" manufactures film for these. I think UO is just advertising it as limited edition because THEY won't be getting any more back in stock once they're gone.

Yes, the film will fit...however to be sure, go on http://www.the-impossible-project.com/ and check out their films available for purchase ($24 a pack, usually)....they will tell you exactly which cameras you can use with which film. Read carefully! Some may look like they can be used with your camera, when really they cannot be.

yes...the film is available on the Impossible Project website. I know of a ton a people who use it just in my town, and I can only imagine the amount of people who use it worldwide! The film should be in high demand for a long time. It's currently the only company in the world who still produces the square format film to fit Polaroids.
