Both sides, which creates like a panel in the front that flows every which way. Your legs will stick out when you walk!

Both sides, on the front side of the dress. It sounds a little awkward, but it makes it flow beautifully when you walk!

answer 3
It's long, so if you're on the shorter side, probably size down. The waist is also very snug, so if you're bigger in that area, size up. The waistband doesn't give much. I'm about 5'7'' 128lbs and the small fit like a glove, length was good, but it couldn't be ANY smaller in the waist. Hope that helps!

answer 5
It probably depends on whether you want the top to be really fitted or not-- I was deciding between two sizes as well (xs and s), and decided to get the xs, but which I had gotten the small... it still looks really good, but it's pretty tight in the top, especially if you have any boobs at all to speak of. Definitely size up if you have a bigger chest.

Question

Is the dress long enough for me?

I'm 5'8 but am slim. I was wondering if I should get a small or a medium. I don't want it to be too short on me but I also am worried the medium might be too big in some areas.

If you're pretty slim, the small will probably work. It's a long dress, but also pretty snug in the waistband. At your height, I don't think you'll need the extra length of a medium though. Hope that helps!

Im 5'3 and got the XS. When I am flat footed the dress drags on the ground. In 4-5 inch heels it doesnt touch the ground but comes close to covering my feet. The dress looks much better worn with heels anyway. I dont think youll need the medium.

I'm 5'8 too and the length was perfect for me! You might have to adjust the straps a tad, no biggie. I got a medium, and I'm 135 lbs, if that helps!

The material is super stretchy so go true to size. It will fit any size bust.

answer 2
The dress is true to size I would say. I fluctuate between sizes 6 & 8 and I got the medium. The bust however is a different story. This is where it fell apart for me. I have a 34DD chest and the dress does not work with a bra. Plus, DD's fill it out toooo much, not enough material for all that jelly! But if you have a small chest, I would say go for it!

answer 3
i just got this dress and im 5'5 with a 34DD and it does NOT allow room for that, the band around the ribs was extremely tight and the fabric was stretched to an unattractive level around the bust.

Fits well in the bust, plus the fabric is very stretchy. I am a full B cup and had no problems with the xs

I wouldn't recommend it. The top is a bit sheer and rather low cut and it has two long slits on either side. It'd probably work better on someone a bit older.

answer 3
The slits go up pretty high and reveals your entire leg when walking, up to your hip. It depends on how conservative you are and your school's dress code. It's high enough to be daring, but it would have to be gale force winds to create a wardrobe malfunction situation.

answer 4
No, I think the leg slits come up really high on the thighs and I'd say it's a little inappropriate for 8th grade, but ESPECIALLY for 8th grade promotion.
